Author(s): Still, H. R., Jr., G. E. Brockenfelt, and F. W. Kinard, Jr.
Year: 1987
Abstract: A Cooperative 3-year project involving hunting clubs, an industry and a wildlife agency improved age class distribution in the population. Body size and antler development of harvested deer were increased in response to age. The harvest strategy served the interests of cooperators. Goals of the forest landowner and lessee of hunting rights were coordinated with the state wildlife agency.
